What I'm tired of:

1. Rain, Rain, Rain
2. Cold weather
3. My Cats (aren't cats a delicacy in some countries)
4. My love handles (how many more sit ups do I have to do. geeze)
5. Our heating bill

What I'm happy about:

1. Max is good when he is at the gym's daycare
2. Max tries to sit up
3. Max sleeps 6-7 hours at night
4. We are going on vacation next month
5. Last but not least, I have the best significant other and father for Max

Disclaimer: All items are in no particular order. Except for the Cats. They are on my #1 Things to Replace List. As I type right now, Player is on the counter, Howard is trying to get my attention by stretching over my keyboard and Cali is probably peeing some where.

Say Cheese

Max is almost 3 months. These pictures are from the last couple of weeks. Not a whole lot has been going on. But a few exciting things are that he has been rolling over from his stomach to his back. He can almost roll back over but not quite yet. Soon he will be there. He does not like to sit so he will only sit in his chair for a little while. He prefers to lie down so he can kick his legs all around or use his walker so he can stretch.
Yesterday was his first visit to a daycare. Justin and I signed up at LA Fitness and took Max to their daycare while we worked out. He did awesome. He stayed entertained by his surroundings for an hour while we were gone. Thank God he is a good baby. Today we took him to get his picture taken at the Issaquah City Hall. He got his picture taken for his first passport picture. He even smiled for the camera. Next month will be his first trip out of the country (Cancun). I hope he doesn't get used to this lifestyle. ha ha.

Last nights bath after he got poo everywhere.
I found a newborn diaper and I didn't want it
to go to waste so I put it on him. Big mistake!
Let's just say he had poo on his foot, hands, back,
booty, everywhere! No more newborn diapers!

All wrapped up trying to keep warm after a bath.

White Christmas

So we had a white Christmas which was awesome. I love the snow and wish it would snow 24/7. We got about 2 feet of snow with this last winter blast. It was also Max's first Christmas. He got a Spiderman outfit from grandma Sue and a walker from mom and dad which he loves. If he can't stand or jump he goes crazy. He does not like to sit. Grandma Leslie and Allen got him his first lego set (Justin's fav), and his first Christmas card which was pretty cool. We got a little something too. A nice gift basket from Allen. Justin claimed most of the goodies in it though :)! His Great Grandma Lou got him his first piggy bank. He was pretty spoiled. I wonder what next year will hold! And Thank you Crystal, Jason and Jacob for the presents. Justin and I love the Bailey's and Irish Cream oh and the clothes for Max!

Max just falling asleep before grandma came over to give him some presents.

Now he is awake. He also got his first piggy bank.

His first lego set. I think Justin was more excited than Max.

He was looking at his Xmax card as Justin read it.

I've fallin and I can't get up

Here is a video I took on my camera right when he fell. I missed the beginning by a second. This was his second fall. (I was filming everything so that's how I caught this). His back still hurts but is feeling better. The roads on Whidbey were very icy. (Yes you can hear me laughing. He thought it was funny too. He didn't expect to fall twice)
Just some random pics from the past week.

My little pumpkin. He is in his new walker. Early Xmas present.

Stuck on an Island

So Justin an I returned home from Whidbey Island last night (Tues). We dropped off Max at my sisters house Saturday morning to babysit so that Justin and I could go to his Christmas party. We stayed the night at the Westin after the Xmas party and went to the football game Sunday afternoon. We have done this tradition (Christmas party, Westin, Football) for all 4 of his Christmas parties. We are glad my sister could help us out so we could keep the tradition going.

It was snowing like crazy at the game and you would have thought Favre (Jets) would be an expert at playing in the snow but it seems Seattle was a little too much for him. Maybe he will show up in San Fran next year with Holmgren and try for a Super Bowl with them.
We also ran into Dick from the reality show Big Brother. It was cool to see him since Justin and I watched the show and loved it.

So after the game we drove back to Whidbey which took 3 hours. It took us an hour just to leave the roads around the stadium since they were not plowed and it was practically a blizzard. Once we got to Mukilteo that was an adventure. As we drove we had to run a few red lights so we wouldn't get stuck. Thank God there weren't a lot of people on the road. However we did get stuck trying to get out of Rite Aide. We were stuck in the parking lot so I got out and cleared the snow in front of the car then pushed us to safety! Then we got stuck at the light to get back on the main road. We reversed into Chevron, waited for a green light and stepped on it to make the light but we got a red light. We didn't stop though. Once we got off the ferry we got stuck on the hill and had to reverse down then turn around and make another run for it. We made it on the 2nd attempt. We ended up having to park our car at Pam's dads business since we wouldn't have made it down the hill to her house. It was too dangerous to drive back to Maple Valley Sunday night and Monday was even worse. They have so much snow out there it's crazy. So Tuesday the main roads were finally plowed so we unburied our car and drove home.

We went to the store to get some diapers and left with beer. Justin had a couple of falls and needed to numb the pain.

My nephew Tanner and I almost knee deep in snow.

Here is the hill to Pam's house. As you can see the car at the top is stuck. The green truck guy to the left kept getting stuck. He was stuck by the fence before we helped him out then he tried to go up the hill but couldn't and got stuck again. What a moron. The truck to the right is seeing who needs help. We just laughed and watched. Prior to all of this an SUV did a 360 as it went down this hill. It almost hit Tanner, Justin and Bill as they helped pull the green truck out the first time.

I threw Zippie in the snow to see how far he would sink.

2 month check up

Friday the 12th Max had his 2 month check up. He was very good throughout the whole visit. He didn't even cry when the doc was poking, measuring and examining him. The doc said he was a very good baby. He did get a few vaccinations and had a quick cry for that. Justin held him while he got his shots and I covered my ears and eyes until it was over. Sorry Justin for taking care of the dirty work. I promise to tell Max when he gets older that it wasn't your fault.
Max now weighs 10lbs 15oz and 23 inches long. He likes to stand not sit, wave his arms around like he is trying to fly, and for the first time this week he slept for 5 hours straight. Since Wednesday he has slept from 9pm to 1-2am. (Depends on the night). Justin gets up for the 1am feeding and I get up for the 4-5am feeding so we both get sleep!
