I can't believe I haven't posted anything since February. I guess with 3 little ones, you lose track of time. We have had many good and not so good times since February. As you can see in some of the pictures, we were at the Hawks sendoff to the Superbowl. That was insane. I didn't realize how many people would be there. But that was an exciting time for us since we have been season ticket holders for 9 seasons now. We are there through the good and bad. You will sea Easter pictures, Mother's Day, fishing, and just hanging out. I will post more pics when I can get them from my Ipad.
However, most recently we found out Max has Type 1 Diabetes. We noticed a change in his behavior for about 2 weeks so we decided to get him into the doc. I had a feeling it was diabetes just by my research. And unfortunately, I was right. I know I like to always be right but in this instance I wish I was totally wrong. He spent 4 days at Children's in Seattle and they were the kindest and most helpful staff we have ever met. We were scared and overwhelmed at the regime he would be on. We were clueless to what diabetes was. But once we got home and continued our routine, we feel like experts. This change has been a blessing in disguise. As hard as it has been, it has caused positive changes in our house. And Max hasn't even been phases by the process. Justin and Myself were the ones who were freaking out. Max was like, calm down. We are happy that as tough as it was, we are stronger as a family! And thankfully we have awesome friends and family to help us out! Amen!
