Max and Mckenna both woke up crying on Christmas morning at 7am. Justin and I looked at each other like what the hec. Did scrooge stop by our house or what. As you can see Max didn't even want to get dressed. He has been working on his figure and wanted to show it off. Milk belly is the new style!

Not sure what to think of his incredible hulk toy

Rest In Peace Dad.

Today at 1:37pm my dad Ronald Gerald Brown went to Heaven to be with God. He was surrounded by his family that has not got together for a long time. It was nice to have the Brown Family together. Max got to play with his cousin Skyla who is 2 months older than him and Jen and I got to visit with our sister Raynell, brother Nicholas, Aunt Charlene and Vickie and step mom Sandy. We all took turns being by my dad's side. He smiled when he found out Jen and I were there. That was the last smile I got to see but I will never forget it.

Love my Dad.

Just an update on my dad. I guess the doctors will not do any chemo on him or anymore surgeries because of his status. They sent him home last week and had hospice set him up with a bed and pain meds. So he is at home with his wife Sandy. Justin and I will go visit him next weekend and my sis Jen will drive up from Cali to see him as well. My other sis Raynell and brother Nick will be there too. It will be nice for all of us to be together. We haven't done that in awhile. I just ask that you pray for my dad. He is a very brave man. Love him very much and can't wait to see him.

These past two weeks have been a lot of fun with Justin being home. His help will be missed since he is back to work tomorrow. I'm sure by the end of the week I will smell, have gray hair and 10 lbs lighter. With two kids vying for my attention, there is no ME time. It seems whenever I go to feed Mckenna, Max decides he wants to eat too. So he is pulling on my pants screaming while Mckenna is starting to get fussy. So I stick her on the boob with one hand and a bottle for Max with the other. Max doesn't even like the bottle but he sees his sister having one so he wants one. Its very cute what he will do for attention. Last week we took Max to the Little Gym. He really like it so it may be a weekly outing for him now.

Play time

Play time at the Super Mall. Max wanted to play on everything that was way too big for him to use alone. Little daredevil.

Me and our kiddos

Animal noises

He loves to say moooo and ooohh aaahhh which is for a monkey. He walks around saying this and it's the cutest.

lil monkey

We brought in his play area since it's too cold and rainy outside. He loves playing on this. He has no fear. He already jumped from the very top and landed on his butt. It didn't seem to bother him. I freaked out though.

Mckenna Harriet Greene

About 3:30 am on 11/12/09 I woke up and could not fall back to sleep. I was leaking lots of fluid but my water didn't actually break. I couldn't figure out why since I wasn't having any contractions. So I cleaned and got our bags ready and then watched some TV. Justin woke up at 5:30 am for work and wondered what the hec I was doing up. I told him what was going on and that he should still go to work since I wasn't having contractions. He left for work and Max and I hung out then took a nap. We woke up at 9am and I was still leaking fluid. I thought this was weird and totally different than when I was in labor with Max. So I called the doctor to ask why this was happening and what I should do. She said, um your in labor and should go to the hospital. So I took a shower, dried my hair, put a little spray tan on and did my make up. I was sure this was not it but if it was, I wanted to take decent pictures. I called Justin and suggested he come home. Around 10am we left for the hospital and dropped of Max and grandma's. Once we got to the hospital they said I was there for good and that I was in early labor. At 3:30pm they induced me since I wasn't having contractions. By about 5pm I was having contractions and counting down the minutes until I could have an epidural. At 7pm my hero showed up and gave me an epidural. However it only worked on the right side of my body so the left felt totally normal. I felt like I was half baked (not literally). So they upped the dosage and then I was in heaven. They checked me at about 9:45 pm and she was ready to come out. The doc came in and I pushed 3 times on 1 contraction and she was out. Mckenna Harriet Greene was born at 10:01pm on 11/12/09. 6 lbs, 10 oz and 19 inches long. We have officially completed our family.

Giving Kisses

Max is finally warming up to the idea of having a little sister. He is giving Mckenna kisses and letting her kiss him on the forehead. He now loves to give her kisses and is much more gentle towards her.

Max being silly

I just love how he throws all of the container lids out of his drawer. However today, he started picking up his mess and putting the lids back in the drawer. Very proud of him.

Max also had his 1 year checkup. He is in the 89th percentile for height and 40th for weight. So he is tall and slender. He is healthy as a horse so it was a good visit.

Halloween Chicken

So Max decided to be a chicken for Halloween this year. At first he hated the outfit but it grew on him. We weren't sure how he would like trick or treating but he actually loved it. The outfit kept him warm too. He was roasting!!! ha ha if you didn't get that, your lame. :)

Icky cake!

Thank you to everyone for coming to Max's 1st birthday party and for the presents. The presents he got were awesome and something I can't wait to use with him. Lot's of great learning toys. Next year we will have two parties to plan back to back. Mckenna and Max.

Happy Birthday to you!

Cake

Max's finding nemo cake. We got the cake because he loves fish. He knows nothing about nemo.

He did not like the cake and did not want to touch it. I was hoping for a messy introduction to cake and have cake flying everywhere. Maybe next year!

All Max cared about were the balloons. Simple pleasures.

At the end of the night we played Wii. Well Dave and Justin played Wii. Max watched as dad attempted golf.

Uncle Dave got Max his own golf clubs. Why am I not surprised!

and eats it! He didn't want to open any other presents once he found a ball.
