From the dump to an island
So Saturday started with an hour at the dump. Yes the dump. This is Max's favortie place to go and boy does he throw a fit when we have to leave. I am starting to think he is going to be in the waste management industry. Since he was about 10 months old he has gone to the front window of the house every Wednesday morning to say hi to Eric the garbage man. We have even made bannana bread for him and he gives toy garbage trucks to Max. So friends with the garbage man and fascinated by the dump. Hmmmmm.... We shall see in about 16 years!
After the dump we were off to Whidbey Island for my nephew James 19th birthday. Oh wait, we had to make a stop at the hobby store so Justin could buy a huge remote control truck for Max. Does he really need another toy? Once we were on the ferry we let Mckenna have full range of the van so she sat in front with us while her brother slept. She is such a ham when she knows she doesn't have her brother to spoil her fun.
Today we came home and played outside to soak up the sun since I have no idea when it will be back!

Ice Cream anyone?
At 5:56 AM. Yes this morning at 5:56 I turn over to see Max eating ice cream in our bed. I will say it again. Max eating ice cream in the bed at 5:56 AM. He went downstairs all by himself and got ice cream out of the freezer and a spoon and brought it up to our bed and started eating it. I had to get my camera and take a picture. It was actually pretty funny. What would possess him to wake up this early and want ice cream. Love the funny things kids do!
The other pictures I just posted are a typical dinner at our house. Lots of laughs and fun and of course Mckenna eating everyone's leftovers. She out eats all of us!

For the Love of Children
This past week/weekend was so much fun. I am sitting here at 10pm just thinking how much fun my kids are. How addicted I am to my kiddos! We were at the zoo on Saturday and I mentioned that I think I would like another child. I got no response but I think he was in shock!. I will give him a couple of weeks to respond. I feel that is an appropriate amount of time for the male species!
So we went to the zoo and Chelsea (Justin's sister) went with us too. It was so cool to see how Max and Mckenna react to the animals and atmosphere compared to when they were a lot younger. I just love seeing the growth and new reactions. As they get older I think that having more kids is dream. I just love being with my kiddos and experiencing life with them. At the zoo Mckenna learned to say Moo, Max hopped around like one of the birds, I stood next to a spider that had nothing covering it and I about flipped out. (actually me and another woman did). It's so not cool to have a spider hanging in the open! Moving on, I think watching the gorillas was the highlight of the trip.
