Max Loves his cookie monster

I have always said, Max surprises me every morning with something new. This morning he was talking up a storm. He was making noises all day but first thing this morning he was making new noises. Just watch and you will see the noise he does over and over. It's quite funny. It sounds like he is saying Oh Yeah...

Outsource this!

OMGosh. What has this world come to? Jack in the Box is outsourcing! Your probably like outsourcing their payroll or supplies right. NO! They are outsourcing customer service!
This video explains it all and when I saw this link on the front page of Yahoo I about choked on my ice cream!
http://www.wcnc.com/video/news-index.html?nvid=325516&shu=1

So the next time you are ordering at a fast food drive through you may be talking to someone in a hut in Zimbabwe. Seriously, we have computerized our customer service. Is America desensitized to human contact? It seems we no longer put value on face to face communication. Obviously speaking to someone live is costing businesses too much money and time. Ridiculous.

I can understand outsourcing customer service to India for Dell Computers or Best Buy since that is diagnostic but for food. Hello, we are talking about a 99 cent cheeseburger for cryin out loud. Why does somebody in rural Kentucky have to place my order? What if their are no fries left or the ice cream machine is broke? Will we be outsourcing the help for the outsourced customer service? Next thing you know restaurants will be outsourcing their servers to Dubai. (ssshhhh I probably wouldn't have a problem with this one! We wouldn't have to tip!)

Max loves the camera. He was acting silly today. I just love watching him have fun.

Taste of her own medicine

He is sticking his tongue out at me!

Today Cali got a taste of her own medicine. I was in the kitchen and felt something warm on my foot. I looked down and Max had spit up all over. A few minutes later after I cleaned up myself and Max, I noticed white stuff on the back of Cali. I started laughing once I figured out that she must have been standing by my because Max obviously slimed her. That's what Cali gets for peeing on my new carpet. Next thing you know she will be trying to pee on max to get him back. I wouldn't be surprised!

Growing Up

Here are some pics from this past week.

Sitting up like a big boy.

Showing off his tummy skills

Stretch!

He was still sucking his fingers while he slept.
It was cute.
Max has been rolling over from his stomach to back for a few weeks now but I'm just taking videos now. We are working on rolling over from back to stomach which he is almost there. He did today if he pushes his foot on my hand. So soon I'm sure he will be rolling all over the floor!!

Every day I wake up and spend time with Max, I notice how much more mature he is. It's amazing how from the time I put him to bed to the time I feed him in the morning, I can already see so many changes. He is either laughing more, grabbing something or so full of energy you think he is going to get up and jog around the house. Sometimes I forget he is only 3 months old. I'm grateful that I can stay home right now to see him grow and change each day. I try to capture everything I can with video and pictures so Justin doesn't miss a thing.

Standing Tall

Last Thursday I was pulling Max up off the ground to help with his neck and back strength. Well he surprised me and decided he wanted to stand up. So now when he is sitting he stands up all on his own. In this video I am not helping him at all. He pushed himself up all on his own. I'm just holding him so he doesn't fall backwards. Since he was born he was pushing his legs straight. Kind of funny that has turned into him only wanting to stand and not sit. The signs were there! I bet he is walking before he crawls. We shall see. He surprises us every day!

What I'm tired of:

1. Rain, Rain, Rain
2. Cold weather
3. My Cats (aren't cats a delicacy in some countries)
4. My love handles (how many more sit ups do I have to do. geeze)
5. Our heating bill

What I'm happy about:

1. Max is good when he is at the gym's daycare
2. Max tries to sit up
3. Max sleeps 6-7 hours at night
4. We are going on vacation next month
5. Last but not least, I have the best significant other and father for Max

Disclaimer: All items are in no particular order. Except for the Cats. They are on my #1 Things to Replace List. As I type right now, Player is on the counter, Howard is trying to get my attention by stretching over my keyboard and Cali is probably peeing some where.

Say Cheese

Max is almost 3 months. These pictures are from the last couple of weeks. Not a whole lot has been going on. But a few exciting things are that he has been rolling over from his stomach to his back. He can almost roll back over but not quite yet. Soon he will be there. He does not like to sit so he will only sit in his chair for a little while. He prefers to lie down so he can kick his legs all around or use his walker so he can stretch.
Yesterday was his first visit to a daycare. Justin and I signed up at LA Fitness and took Max to their daycare while we worked out. He did awesome. He stayed entertained by his surroundings for an hour while we were gone. Thank God he is a good baby. Today we took him to get his picture taken at the Issaquah City Hall. He got his picture taken for his first passport picture. He even smiled for the camera. Next month will be his first trip out of the country (Cancun). I hope he doesn't get used to this lifestyle. ha ha.

Last nights bath after he got poo everywhere.
I found a newborn diaper and I didn't want it
to go to waste so I put it on him. Big mistake!
Let's just say he had poo on his foot, hands, back,
booty, everywhere! No more newborn diapers!

All wrapped up trying to keep warm after a bath.

Max Stealing Jakes ride.

Max and his new chair and toy. (2 mos 2 wks)

More tummy time.
